Windtail’n at La Bajada Opportunity used her Front Hazard Camera to take this image as she hunkered down inside Perseverance Valley on Halloween over a wind tail target at La Bajada. The robot field geologist took close-up pictures of the target with her Microscopic Imager (MI). She was slated to analyze its chemical make-up with her Alpha Particle X-ray Spectrometer (APXS) as the calendar turned to November. NASA / JPL-Caltech / Cornell University / Arizona State University
