Web of canyons on Ceres
Web of canyons on Ceres Dawn observed this web of canyons in the southwest of Occator Crater on July 26 from an altitude of 94 miles (152 kilometers). The scene is 9 miles (15 kilometers) across. These fractures may have been caused by the pressure from cryomagma, as if a piston pushed up and cracked the ground. We saw this same network in March from 2.5 times the height.
