The night side of the Earth at 20:00 UTC on January 14 Four stations in Europe were scrambled to view Huygens in case she lived that long. From north to south: Onsala, Sweden; Westerbork, Netherlands; Wettzell, Germany; and Medicina, Italy. Westerbork proved unable to tune their receiver to Huygenss' frequency. It is not yet known whether the other three actually managed to detect Huygenss' signal. It now appears that perhaps only Onsala managed to get anything, but it is not clear whether the data will be useful.
