South Pole of Neptune This portrait of Neptune's south pole is by Canadian artist, retired teacher and Planetary Society member Susan Gaby-Trotz. Susan Gaby-Trotz

Made using traditional rug hooking techniques, the original piece is 20″ x 17″, made of hand-cut wool and jersey, sari silk, wool roving, wool and synthetic yarn on linen. It was designed based on images from NASA's Voyager 2 spacecraft.
