Power plunge Graphic on left shows six slices of Mars, taken at different times, and the impact of the
growing dust storm on Opportunity’s visibility as of June 6, 2018. The images were
produced by the Mars Color Imager (MARCI) camera onboard MRO and processed by
the camera team. The blue dot indicates the rover’s approximate location. Graphic on
right shows how the rover’s power level, in watt-hours, dropped dramatically as the
