The trailing hemisphere of Phobos in color from ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter
The trailing hemisphere of Phobos in color from ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter Shortly after its arrival at Mars, ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter devoted a couple of its long, elliptical initial orbits to tests of its science instruments. During one of those tests, its CaSSIS camera imaged Phobos in color. The view shows Phobos' trailing hemisphere, a part of the moon that has not been well-imaged by ESA's other Mars orbiter, Mars Express. ESA / Roscosmos / CaSSIS
