Osprey backup sample site on asteroid Bennu This mosaic of asteroid Bennu's surface was created from 347 images taken by NASA's OSIRIS-REx spacecraft on 26 May 2020. The spacecraft was 250 meters above the surface at the time. The dark crater at the bottom of the image is Osprey, a backup location from which the spacecraft could collect a sample. The large, light-colored boulder to the crater's left is 5.2 meters long. The full-size, 218 MB image is available here. NASA/Goddard/University of Arizona
