Last image from Rosetta This final image of comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko was captured by the European Space Agency's Rosetta spacecraft on 30 September 2016 moments before it intentionally landed on the surface to end the mission. The image, which measures about 2 meters across, was reconstructed from the spacecraft's final signals sent to Earth before contact was lost.
