Each flexible wheel can be independently steered and driven, which is particularly useful in soft soils and dunes. Two UHF monopole antennas are used to communicate with Mars orbiters, including the ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter. The antennas of the WISDOM ground-penetrating radar can be seen in this view.
