Aurora over the Capitol Planetary Society member Jonah Bryson captured this spectacular image of the Aurora Borealis over the United States Capitol on Oct. 10. Seeing the northern lights this far south is rare, but might happen more often this year as the Sun’s activity peaks. Jonah Bryson
