Yong-Chun Zheng is a scientist at the National Astronomical Observatories, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is involved in China's lunar and exploration mission planning, data processing for the Chang'E lunar mission, and geologic mapping and research of the Moon. His specialties include planetary/lunar science and geochemistry. Zheng also developed the first Chinese lunar soil simulant, CAS-1.
