Valerie Fox

Valerie Fox is a graduate student in Earth and Planetary Science at Washington University in Saint Louis. She studies Martian surface processes and remote sensing, using orbital data sets and ground truth observations by the Mars rovers to understand geologic environments of the present and past. She is also involved in the operational teams for both Opportunity and Curiosity, and with the science team for the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter's Compact Reconnaissance Imaging Spectrometer (CRISM). She received her bachelor’s degree in physics from Carleton College, Minnesota.
