Sanna Alwmark

Sanna Alwmark is a post-doc with the Niels Bohr Institute Mars Group in Copenhagen, and a post-doc collaborator on Mastcam-Z. She has a Ph.D. in geology from Lund University in Sweden. Sanna is passionate about the geologic evolution of both Earth and the other terrestrial planets, especially Mars. Her main area of expertise is impact cratering and how that process affects planetary bodies, from development of microscopic shock-induced features in minerals to potential impact-induced biosphere perturbation.
