Geoffrey Reeves, research fellow in the Space Science and Applications group at Los Alamos National Laboratory, studies space weather and its effects on satellites and Earth-based infrastructure. Los Alamos National Laboratory designed and built the Helium Oxygen Proton Electron (HOPE) spectrometer, which collects data on low-energy electrons on the Van Allen Probes.
