Space Policy Edition #21: Bill Nye and the State of the Union

This special abbreviated show has Casey Dreier and Mat Kaplan welcoming their colleague Matt Renninger, Senior Government Relations Manager for The Planetary Society. Matt accompanied Bill Nye during his rounds in Washington, D.C. before the State of the Union address delivered on January 30th. They met with sixteen members of Congress to talk science and recruit new members to the new bipartisan Planetary Science Congressional Caucus The Space Policy Edition will return with another special episode when NASA’s proposed 2019 budget is revealed in mid-February.
