Rosetta Swoops Past Asteroid On Way To Comet

The European Space Agency's Rosetta probe just performed brilliantly as it encountered asteroid Lutetia. Now it heads for its rendezvous with a comet. Rosetta Operations Manager Andrea Acomazzo reports from Germany on the mission. Emily Lakdawalla has assembled a family portrait of every asteroid and comet visited so far. Bill Nye comments on the likelihood that specks of another asteroid were returned to Earth by Japan's Hayabusa. And it's soccer balls and hamburgers in space on this week's What's Up.
