Kevin Walsh is a collaborator to NASA's OSIRIS-REx asteroid sample return mission since 2012, and is now the deputy lead of the Regolith Development Working Group. This Working Group is tasked with compiling all information to constrain the nature and history of geologic material on the surface of the target asteroid Bennu, including building maps of sampleable regions to help select sample sites.
