I'll be presenting at the American Geophysical Union Meeting next week

I'm going to just one day of the enormous annual American Geophysical Union meeting next week, and I am actually presenting a talk! It will be at 3:10 on Monday afternoon in room S102, in session ED13B, and is titled "Snapshots from Space: Citizen Participation in Space Missions Through Image Processing." I'll post my presentation on Monday. I also plan to attend a few talks, on Mars, Venus, Haumea, and Lutetia, before hurrying back home to the kids on Monday night. I will attempt to Tweet from the talks (hashtag: #AGU10) but that depends on the quality of the available wireless Internet access. Actually I don't know if I'm going to be able to get to the Haumea talk as it's scheduled right after my talk and is three floors up. AGU is too big.

If anybody knows of any planned social gatherings of geophysicists in San Francisco on Sunday evening, please drop me an email. I will sadly arrive too late for the AGU "Ice Breaker Reception" but I expect there will be a gathering of beer-drinking geologists of some kind or another!
