ANSMET Blogs: waiting around McMurdo; first 20 meterorites found
I've just reposted another week's worth of blogs from the 2008 Antarctic Search for Meteorites expedition, taking the trip up through December 17. It's been a week with two members of the team stuck out in the field waiting for a replacement "groomer" to arrive, which they can use to repair a runway, while the rest of the team bums around McMurdo. But the two team members in the field weren't idle. They noodled around their camp and managed to find 20 small meteorites already.
