Saving Our Science

We've just posted an update on the "Save Our Science" campaign, with some good news. The omnibus Appropriations bill increases funding for planetary exploration and restores funding for science. However, the bill still faces a hurdle, in that President Bush has threatened to veto the bill if it contains less funding for the Iraq war than he has requested.

While I'm posting links to stuff on the website, there's a new entry in Tyler Nordgren's "Stars Above, Earth Below" journals, from the lovely Chaco Culture National Historic Park in New Mexico.
