Memo to Australians: Tell your government if space exploration benefits your community

Australia's Space Policy Unit is conducting a survey of people in the commercial space industry, state and local governments, and education and research sectors as part of an effort to assess the economic value of civil space to the country. If you're an Australian in one of these occupations and want to help make a case for Australia's participation in space exploration, go here to learn more and to provide input to Australia's National Space Policy.

I learned about this survey via the Space Policy Unit's Twitter account. I want to do more to promote grass-roots support of government investment in space exploration in countries outside the U.S., but am hampered by a lack of information. If you hear of opportunities like this for citizens in your country to express support for space, please let me know and I'll be happy to tell people about it!
