from previously developed Chinese missions.
Communication: China’s existing S-Band, administered by the
very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) astronomical surveying network,
will be used to communicate with and control the spacecraft.
Mission Cost: The total cost of the project is about 170 million U.S.
dollars (1.4 billion yuan).
