Vetterli says: "First I informed myself about Venus from the Internet.
I wanted to show the hottest place on Venus, with active volcanoes. I imagined
that after descending past the windy atmosphere at 40 or 50 kilometers' altitude,
I could find a landing place in a 'cooler' area, from which I could send a
'Postcard from Venus.' To make the artwork I took several pictures from nature,
such as snow, a small river, a candle, lava-rocks from Lanzarote, several sunsets,
etc. and colored them."
